Sports unite, create friendships and togetherness. It's a great way to keep in shape while having fun with a team. Boxers Rebellion,LLC is always looking for new members to join and become active members of our club.  Sports aren't just an important way to stay fit and trim. Movement is also fun and healthy, you can meet people and make new friendships. We cover sports unique training methods in our daily sessions.  If you want to challenge yourself and compete.  You have the option to join our competition team to get ring ready.

The athletic divisions primary focus is researching, developing, and training in the combative and martial arts sports based on the sport rules.  We do not have specific class times for different sports training.  All of our basic classes are based on Gordon Fighting Systems.  We have a competition / fight team that meets for the purpose of preparing individuals for competitions in various combative sports.  To learn more, please email us at info@boxersrebellion.com.

 

Boxing Competition

 

Boxing can be defined as fighting with the fists.  In most sports competitions boxing uses padded gloves in a defined territory such as a ring, cage, platform, etc... 

 

Kickboxing Competition

 

Kickboxing can be defined as fighting with the foot and fists.  In most sports competitions kickboxing uses padded gloves in a defined territory such as a ring, cage, mat, platform, etc...  In kickboxing, rules can very drastically.  Some allow elbows, throws, headbutts, while others do not allow leg kicks.

 

Grappling Competition


Grappling can be defined as fighting by grabbing, throwing, wrestling, etc...  In most sports competitions grappling uses a defined territory such as a ring, cage, mat, platform, etc..   In sports competition grappling rules can very drastically.  While the foucus of brazilian jiu jitsu is on submissions, the focus in judo is on throws, and the focus in wrestling is on pin, reversal, escape.  

 

Mixed Martial Arts Competition

 

Mixed Martial Arts is a combat sport in which contestants are permitted to use the fighting techniques of boxing, kickboxing, and grappling.   In most sports competitions mixed martial arts uses padded gloves in a defined territory such as a ring, cage, mat, platform, etc..   In competition mixed martial arts rules can vary.

 

Point Fighting Competition

 

Point Fighting can be defined as technical Kickboxing.   Just as kickboxing you fight with the foot and fist.  In most sports competitions kickboxing uses padded gloves in a defined territory such as a ring, cage, mat, platform, etc...  You have different levels. This is more of your traditional karate, or taekwondo type of tournament.

This tournament is a semi-contact event which serves as a balanced medium to allow competitors the opportunity to experience continuous sparring under a variety of differing rule sets, without the pressure of a full contact environment. There are numerous reasons this is becoming such a fast growing component of combat sports!

 

New or less experienced martial artists looking for their first experience with continuous action while maintaining a level of controlled contact.  Experienced competitors who are in need of a tune-up after a layoff or as a competitive outlet between other events.  Martial artists seeking to test their skills in a more live action environment.
